A new resort in Davao City is going to give you the thrill and fun that can surely suffice your adrenaline cravings. D’ Leonor Inland Resort and Wavepool offers exciting amenities such as their clubhouse, foodcourt, park, badminton and basketball court, a 600 steps walk section, zipline, surf package, hanging bridge, trekking section and a mini zoo. The newly constructed wavepool is the main attraction of the resort and it is a great place to have that dip and plunge you want. Their Raging river section is a must-try since you’ll truly enjoy the wrath of waves in this part of the pool. They also have Jacuzzi and pool slides that will unquestionably hype you further. D’ Leonor is an impeccable choice for corporate parties and family picnic because of its bigger space compared to other Davao water parks. The place is not as crowded as the other resorts thus you can have that exclusive-feel you need for your party activities. Also witness the resort’s ploy and entertaining events that add amusement on your visit.

The resort is located at Communal, Purok 5, Cabantian, Davao City, just a 15-30 min. drive from the city.

Rates and fees of the resort are quite expensive but reasonable. Entrance fee is just Php50  and wavepool usage is charged Php250. Additional fees are also collected if you prefer to enjoy their other facilities. D’ Leonor Inland Resort and Wavepool is surely another attraction to hit in your next planned getaway.

The place is nice inside the Wave Pool they got speakers on the ground playing music, the cottages are clean. When I saw the pool whoaa (I had to admit I was amazed to see it though hahaha, never seen this huge of a pool before). There are 3 areas in the pool the one huge pool inside, the pool are for the kids where there are slides, and the outer pool where you can pay to use their power paddlers and rubber boats (not sure if this is the right term for that device). The waves would come every 40 minutes (better yet just wait for the siren to tell you the wave is coming), although don’t expect such big waves guys, but my little daughter loves it so much though. The children’s pool have 5 slides in it, and two huge pail that splashes water all over you once it hits its limit.

The Zoo – We had with us our 3 year old kid so we went to the zoo for her to see some live animals that she only sees on TV.  Entrance fee to the zoo is Php70.00 for adults and Php50 for kids.  The zoo is not that very huge but there are a number of animals that are endemic in the Philippines as well as from outside the Philippines contained in the zoo.

The Chapel – The Chapel is an ideal venue for weddings, baptisms, and other similar events.

The Chalets (Rooms) – There are 40 of these elegantly designed Chalets complete with furnishings in the comfort of a home.

You are free to use the life jackets, and there is also a water ball in the area and that will also cost you 50 pesos per 5 minutes. Although there is a restaurant inside which you can order foods, I don’t know the price though because we brought our own foods, and it was well enough for us. There is also a free wifi, so you can bring your laptops or cellphone that are wifi ready. We were there at around 8:30 in the morning so right about noon time after lunch, we decided to go out side to explore some of the places D’Leonor Hotel Inland Resort has to offer. There was a zoo in which I will be talking about it in another post (click here for the link), entrance fee for zoo is 70 pesos for adults and 50 pesos for children.
Other places worth visiting aside from the Zoo and Wave Pool is the D’Leonor Zip Line, its a 460 meter zip line that has a entrance fee of 250 pesos for adults and 150 pesos for kids.
